Looking to purchase a 1984 Pontiac Trans Am
I know it's a long shot, but looking to purchase a survivor 1984 Trans Am. It must be black and gold with automatic. Prefer, full ground effect package, t-tops and no engine swaps. Would also like cloth interior - not base vinyl. Condition and color of interior not important, but body must be in good shape with only minor surface rust - No rot!
I'm in western NY so the closer to me the better. Would like to pick the car up in person to avoid shipping costs. Looking to spend under $10K.
Anyone out there have one they are looking to sell before winter? Below are some example pics of one I just missed for reference.
Please send me a PM with what you have and I will reply with my phone number to talk.
Thank you.

Thanks for the link punkmaster. Appreciate everyone’s leads.
I tried to call about the Pittsburgh one this past Sunday but the listing was expired and I didn’t have any contact info.
I’m driving 18 hours round trip to check one out this Saturday. Hopefully it works out. I’ll post some pics if it does.

I didn’t see that one. Thanks for posting.
I haven’t been searching lately cause I figured nothing would really come up for sale during winter. A member did reach out to me before the holidays and I’m hoping to touch base in the spring to go check it out.

be patient its out there...with the craziness going on right now I suspect if it keeps getting worse youre gonna see a lot of fire sales on just about everything. Be patient, have cash in hand.
People are going to be worried about day to day goings on...getting no$talgic TV money for an old F body probably wont be happening.
Seeing more and more early birds and Zs pop up in Socal, good thing they are still reasonable as everyone wants the later ones.
Probably gonna wind up with another C4 as one found me too cheap to pass up, but do want a nice F body to daily drive.
Figure new cars are 30-40k...why not spend a fraction of that and drive a nice classic every day? They are plenty reliable esp TBI cars.
POSt your WTB on every site you can think of so it pops up in Google searches, thats how I sold my ZR-1. Hadnt run an ad in a year someone local pulled it up and 2 days later it was gone..full asking price.

Thanks for all the leads everyone.
I ended up finding a car in Indiana.
You can follow my progress with the new car here:
