Current mileage: 88,679 miles. Purchased from McConnell Chevrolet in Healdsburg in 1995 with approximately 50,000 miles. The combination of the 5.0L H.O. TPI engine with 5spd manual and T-Tops is rare. 1990 was the lowest volume year for the Firebird and even lower for the Formula variant, with only 4,834 Formulas produced. You will be hard-pressed to find another one like this.

Paint is original and clearcoat is failing. Interior is original and top of rear seat back is starting to tear due to age (not use). Dash has some cracks (again, due to age). Car has been parked in the garage for the past 18 years and only taken out around the block a few times a year to keep the parts moving. The car needs to go to someone with the time to enjoy it so it doesn’t just waste away, parked in a garage!

Car does not have current registration--bring trailer.

The engine internals are all stock, so it should be around 300HP and 400lb-ft. I’ve never had it dynoed but the power increase over stock was significant and it doesn’t lose power at elevation due to thin air. I had to bump up the rear tire width to 275 to increase grip, the stock 245’s weren’t up to the challenge. With the increased grip, the stock steel driveshaft wasn’t up to the challenge.

Love it - great car! if I had the space and wasn't already in the dog house for car purchases I'd be all in. My first car was a 1988 Formula 350 (Maui Blue) and I miss it to this day. Sold it long ago to Click (Ray) of Click and Clack on the NPR show Car Talk for his son. My wife and mother got together a while ago to buy it back for me but it is long gone...... GLWTS!!!
