89 firebird V6/T5 $300
This is the car that started it all for me with 3rd gens. Picked it up spring break of my senior year of HS. Lots of memories here. Learned to drive a stick, learned that electrical really isnt that scary. Learned maintenance is a PITA... heres looking at you spark plugs. Learned T-tops are awesome
Lets cover the basics
89 V6/T5, T-tops, reasonably good interior. Exterior looks like hell, doesnt run, high mileage
Alrighty, I drove the crap out of this car, broke it, fixed it and drove it some more. Overhauled the gross interior to something I wasnt ashamed to pick up my friends with and eventually grew out of the car when I moved on to better ones. I gave it to my sister for a short while who immediately wrecked the original trans, so I got a replacement from a board member along with a fresh clutch. Her BF wanted to restore it, so he started by sanding all the paint off and rattle canning it with primer... poorly. So its a zebra. Fast forward a year or so and my buddy needs a DD, so I give it to him and its driven with some basic maintenance until the distributor module dies. He replaces it with a cheap parts store module and it works for about 3 months before pooping out again as is expected. He didnt want to replace a part he just swapped so it sat like this for about 2 years. Now its time to clear off all the cars Im not using
For the mechanicals, the engine ran fine, the replacement trans shifted great and the suspension was pretty good considering its life. The rearend does whine above 70, mostly because its got a ton of miles on it, but thats ok because the top speed was only 95... downhill... with a mile WOT head start. Fast this car is not
To get it going again the dist module is a minimum. No telling what else has seized up since its been idle. Injectors? Fuel pump? Dont know dont really care
Its priced basically scrap weight, which is exactly what I paid for it 12 years ago: $300. Fix it, part it, scrap it, do whatever. Im not going to do any of those to this car
Clean title. No major rust that I know of. The 4th gen seats pictured do not go with the car. Black cloth 3rd gen seats will be included if you want them. Wheels are nothing special and are included. I dont have the original 20 slots anymore
Pics!

300 bucks? I'd buy it just out of general principle if you were local.

The back glass is worth more than 300 somebody should buy it. If it wasn't so far I would get it for parts.
