Re: Vacuum Diagrams
What will i need to replace my egr valve? I have a camaro rs tbi 305 5.0ltr. My car flutters when i dont give gas. Acts like it wants to turn off but doesn't. I had a diagnostic done a year ago and they said I had a Minor leak at the egr. So i assume thats the problem

Re: Vacuum Diagrams
Hi, I would make double-sure that it isn't something else first. Do a tune-up, check for vacuum leaks (those rubber lines aren't getting any younger), and try some injector cleaner in the tank. If the EGR does need replacing, they are pretty reasonable at the auto part stores. I like to check online first so I have the correct part No. and price before I walk in the store. Also, be very careful as to which line goes where as I noted in an earlier post (the solenoid valve is specially designed to be connected one way only).
Good luck!

Re: Vacuum Diagrams
Does anyone have an actual pic of the car for a 84 Berlinetta for the TVS swirtch? I need to replace or bypass mine. It broke off and i have no idea where to connect a new one. My water neck has a TVS switch on the right side of the neck and a coolant temp sensor on the left. I have the SB 305 W/4BBL

Re: Vacuum Diagrams
go with the 86-89 since they uused the Mass Air Flow the 90-92 switched to the speed density.
Guys I just bought a 91 Camaro Z28 Convertible, it had a 305 TBI. I did away with it and I installed a TPI system from a 1989 IROZ with a Mass Air Flow Sensor . I kept the original 1991 vent canister wich has a different diagam. My question is, should I set the vacuum lines up as the TPI 90-92 or should i find the vent canister for a 86-89 TPI?????

Re: Vacuum Diagrams
Sorry man. Those aren't vacuum lines. But I'll still hook you up. I need to know the year and model of your Camaro. What I will do is take a screen print of my parts and illustration of the emissions system. It should show everything you need. I'm currently at school right now. Bit I'll try to remember when I get home.

Re: TPI Vacuum Diagrams
Here are 2 different vacuum diagrams for the TPI system. Just follow the link. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/post...48-post12.html
If that is the case I have the 2 lines transposed. the top tip hose(control valve) hose going to the plenum the bottom tip hose going to the fuel return line. What would this cause? Thank you Chevy86
