Winking headlights?

Has anyone ever rigged up their Firebird/Trans Am's head lights to wink? I've always though this would be a pretty cool trick. I just saw a tik tok where a 240SX did a wink and this solidified my thoughts. lol.

Just wondering how you'd go about doing it? Seems like you'd need a "momentary" push button right? Something to interrupt the lights while they are "on". Hold the button long enough for one of the lights to "wink" (go off and back on).

Any idea what wire to tap to make this happen? is this possible?

when i see that, i immediately say "that guy has a broken headlight motor". the "lazy eye" mod on the c5's make me think the same thing. dont know why you would want everyone thinking you had a broken car?

Not much of a fan of the idea, This is more of a electrical rely/logic scenario, the headlight motors are operated by a control box on the firewall, once the controller see's a 12v signal power is sent to the motors and a timer starts, after so many seconds the controller shuts power to the motors, it's this circuitry in the controller that would need to be modified. What would it take to adapt the electrical system from 240SX to the third gen? With that said you may get more replies over on the Electronics board.
