Custom fuel rails
Has anyone ever built custom fuel rails for our TPI units? I'd really like to polish my rails, and bent my own custom
hard lines/braided lines and move my regulator where it's easier to get at.....

I haven't built custom fuel rails but I have taken the stock pieces and modified them to accept -06AN fittings. I have one fitting on the front of each rail. On the rear of the driver's rail, I modified the stock cold start injector adapter to a -04AN fitting for my fuel pressure gauge. I left the rear of the passenger side rail untouched because I chose to keep the regulator in the stock location.
For an aftermarket regulator, it would be very easy to use one length of crossover tube (found on the front of the rail) and used it on the rear, eliminating the regulator. You'll have to modify the rear of both rails for -06AN fittings so an aftermarket regulator can be used.

I modified my stock rails to accept -06 fittings and hoses. The reason for the mod is, I had to eliminate the sharp bend that the stock hard line takes, as it comes off of the stock regulator. With an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, that bend was keeping my fuel pressure up, so I had very little adjustability. My set up pretty much is like *******, with the plenum off.
