i think his idea is a good one too. it has nice lines with the rest of the car. btw, i ran into a problem with mine...it's not strong enough by itself, so now i am adding supports that will go from the rear bumper to the spoiler. right now, it wants to fold over at higher speeds. fun stuff.....

I dunno how supports going to the bumper will look. On a race car it looks acceptable... but I dunno mang.. just dont know.

... I think he's made a good effort to actually get some downforce added to the rear of the car.

Check my website to see my IROC spoiler, modified to fit on my T/A, to actually get some downforce.

if i haven't stated already, my car is a american iron extreme racecar that i'll drive on the street from time to time. my appologies to all if i confused or mislead anyone that it's a daily driven car. this series it'll be in is at www.americanironwest.com. the cool thing is that i'm trying out new things on this car and somethings are working fine, in fact, i am making a new front lower spoiler to help "split" the air on the front of the car. it's alot of trial and error, but thats what it takes. if this front nose and spoiler turn out good, i might see about making a more streetable version of them. the big thing that kills the process and time is my job and the time and travel it's been taking lately. so far, i made my own sfc's, stb, front lower nose, and this rear spoiler deal. the only problem i've had is this rear spoiler, the center section needs more support because it's starting to crack because of the wind pushing on it. that explains the supports for it. the front nose i have yet to see whats working and what won't. i want to thank everyone for their opinions so far, rather good or bad. it's good to get feedback to see who likes what and or if and where there could be a potential market for something for the 3rd gens. i've been thinking a lot about the japanese carbon hood lately and i thought about making a 3" cowl with the air extractors in it out of fiberglass. if it all works, then i might make mine out of carbon fiber with kevlar reinforcements. just have to wait and see how much time i have this summer to get it all together. thanks everyone.

that and it's fun when she wants to do a few laps in the car and she actually does pretty good. heck, she almost beat one of my lap times once. i have to admit, she can drive. she also jumps right in and gets dirty to do maintence and repairs before her car needs them. lol:hail:
