1989 T/A GTA SE. needing where to purchase--

between wheels screwed into plastic ground effects is an ? is black L shaped air dam. screw to car to the bottom ground effects. both sides. L shaped --seems like hard rubber or ??. about 6 ft long, 1 side of L is 1" and the other is about 3". can't find name or p/n in factory manuals.

any suggestions very welcome. tks in advance

He talking about the black plastic L shaped piece that runs underneath the side GFX from the front wheel to the back wheel. It's L shaped not very tall at all and I think it's held on with some little black oxide coated 5/32 head screws. You see it on 87 to 90 GTAs and maybe 85 to 90 Trans Ams and base 89 to 90 Firebirds with the Sport Appearance Package. I don't think the 91/92 Firebirds have it.

The part seems about as useless as teats on a boar hog but I like it. Cleans up the look a little bit if looking at the car from the side from kind of down low.

I know exactly what he is talking about but I have no idea what it is called.

I think the 87 GTA at my local u pull and pay still has those pieces. Im in colorado.
