Late model year 91 Firebird's and Camaro's got a different design than what OP is selling. topduarte you should check which version you have as it might be possible that some 92's got the old style pull down assembly.

Manny, that wont fit your 92. You need the plastic/composite version.

What will work on an 89? Will one from 85 mount up?

I just discovered today that 82-85 didn't offer the pull down motor & 86-89 were the same. 90-92 won't fit the mounting on 86-89.

They used the same pull down motor assembly from 86 to 91(ish), there was a change to this, mid-late 91 throught the 92 model year had a different pull down motor assembly.
