FS: 85-92 Camaro Radiator Ducts GM # 14107377 & 14107378

Sold. Thanks for looking!

GM Part # 14107377 & 14107378 $45 FREE shipping!

Getting my ducts in order, and it appears I have an extra set.

These are the scoops or ducts that sit behind the grill openings on 87-92 Z28s, RS, Irocs etc. Should also fit 85-86, but the diagrams in the book don't specifically show them, so the mounting holes might be too small or non-existent in the front impact bar.

Condition is Good. Not perfect. No cracks, a few scuffs and scratches. They were a bit sun faded from exposure, so I cleaned them up and gave them a squirt of semi-gloss black Krylon Fusion. They look OK for something that hides out of sight under the front end, but could use a bit of light wet sanding and another coat for the picky types.

$45.00 shipped. I'll eat the shipping, and Paypal fees. As always FREE shipping, so fast your MailMan will get whiplash! I have flawless feedback here, and 5 stars as an Ebay Top Rated "Power Seller". https://www.ebay.com/usr/drew91formula
So grab your wood screws, and reply with an "I'll take it" and send me a PM so I can blow your doors off with awesome service today!

Sold. Thanks for looking!

Now THIS is how you do a FS thread! If I had a camaro, I would buy them, just because of the top notch presentation!

GLWS man.

I try to avoid questions by answering any I can think of beforehand.
If I am lucky, I'll get a spot back on my work bench, a lil cash for the hobby fund, and maybe someone will get a part they need.

Ok, I have a question, do these ducts only go on the ground fx cars?

That would be my best educated guess. They don't show up in the Parts and Illustration Catalog until the 87-up diagrams. Of course those diagrams also cover all variants, so A/C, Non-A/C, Z28, Iroc, LT, all the parts for all of those cars show up in the same diagram.

82-86

87-88

The particular set I am selling came off a 91 RS. My 91 RS also has them.

For what it's worth!

Hmmm. Have to double check my car. I don't think I ever saw them installed and being the last year of Camaro non-ground fx, probably wouldn't be needed. I can see how the front chin spoiler would warrant the need to add the extra "air scoops".

Now do the Formula's have them?

The Formula's don't have an open front bumper, so not really. They do have a similar array of baffles that direct air up and through the condenser/radiator. Pretty much all the later cars have a deep airdam, along with a ramped path to the top of the radiator, and side panels to force air through the condenser/radiator.

I wouldn't consider the airflow through the impact bumper to matter much. But apparently there's a lot more airflow there than what I thought. At one point my convertible was driven through a plague of Locusts. When I got it, the aircleaner was packed with grasshoppers. Recently noticed that the condenser behind these scoops is also packed with grasshoppers. Hard to imagine how they made it through the full RS grill, and into the condenser, but the bug splats are hardcore.

Last call before I throw these in the deepest, darkest corner of the attic for another decade or for another home owner to unearth at some later date.
