Parting out 84 Z28 - louvers, t-tops
Picked up a parts car to finish my existing project - pretty complete but the body's pretty rough. Motor and tranny are gone and I'm taking what I need but if you need something shout out.
Has a decent rear window louver set and the t-top glass is cherry but I noticed a very small piece of the trim around the glass is missing. Also came with a B&M Megashifter. (sold)
I bought the car from a guy who didn't want to scrap it because of all the useable parts so I want to pay that forward before I pick it and then scrap it.

The louvers are cool but a couple are just barely not straight, it would be super easy to fix and they should be refinished. Looks like they might split in 3 pieces and ship fairly easy. The center is hinged and has levers that lock and unlock it so you can clean the glass under. Come with all mounting hardware.

Good question I'll have to check under the hood tomorrow morning - motor and trans were already pulled - I kind of only glanced under there as I'm not interested in anything under the hood since mines already finished. I saw the booster, master cyl., A/C evap...
Yep A/C car
Anything specific your after?

Some pics of the T-tops - the bag is there but it's kind of ratty thought but I just glanced at it, maybe it'll clean up. Make an offer.

Re: Parting out 84 Z28 - louvers, t-tops
Factory pieces and the bag is embossed with the GM logo. The handles and inside trim are nice, the glass is nice and the large flat weatherstrip that sticks out above the door is whole though it's a little sun faded and could use some armoral. I mean they aren't show car pieces or nothing but they're real decent.
I'm in Montana and it's raining and supposed to for a week so maybe the t-tops will have to wait until I can get the other stuff out of the car first.

Louvers are off so here's some pics of those. All mounting hardware included. you can see the paint on the top middle louver is fading off. Respray these and they'd be real nice.

I think since I'm in the middle of body work on mine I might pull the bar and refinish it too so I might ask a little more for it.

Yo Coolball, What up? Hey what kind of condition is the MegaShifter in? Does it go through the gears smooth? Easy to pull the release? Any rips on the boot? Rust under the boot? Come with the short cable?

Re: Parting out 84 Z28 - louvers, t-tops
Got some additional parts pulled this weekend.
Complete main harness - no broken connectors
Windshield wiper motor
Cowl screen in good shape
Have some nice dash vents - all except one big one that is broke
All ducting
A/C evaporator cover
Blower motor and housing with all vacuum cans and the firewall vent
Let me know what parts you might need before it goes to scrap!
Might have a nice passenger tail light, cover looks good will know more when I pull it. Also might be able to salvage the dark grey carpet there's no rips but there's some rust spots around the seat bolts..might clean up okay.
Stay tuned!

See what I can do for you. I'm using the trim pieces but they haven't been pulled yet so I don't know what it looks like underneath. No problem cutting it out if it's good enough. Let you know. Funny enough on my car it was cancerous in the exact same spot on yours. I just finished braze welding the repairs last weekend. Clean looking car you've got there.

Car has been scrapped but I still have the louvers and also the t-tops. Make me an offer on either. The louvers are like $150 to ship, not sure about the t-tops though.

No big issues...just get a quote from USPS and fill out a form stating what you are shipping and how much it is worth. I will pay the duties upon delivery.
