[MD] 85-87 Sport Coupe Foglight Grilles, Factory Brackets
#1
(sold) 85-87 Sport Coupe Foglight Grilles, Factory Brackets
Both of these items are for 85-87 Camaro Sport Coupes, Berlinettas, and LT's. These items will not fit Z28's/IROC/RS. These parts are IMPOSSIBLE to find. I have been collecting these parts one piece at a time, when I can find them, but I am now going in a different direction.
Item #1, sold as a set. Includes (1) foglight grille, (2) factory foglight brackets, and (2) GM foglights (not Camaro). The brackets will position the foglights in the correct position on the grille. There are two holes on the bottom of the brackets that line up with existing holes in the bumper. The grille is in very good shape, flexible, and I don't see any broken or damaged parts. $200/BO for the set.
Item #2 is a spare foglight grille. It's in fair condition. There is a notch cut in the passenger side light opening (??) and the grille is pretty brittle. This might be a good spare, but not for your show car. $65

This is sold.
Before I close the thread, I wanted to post some pictures comparing the Sport Coupe mount to the normal IROC mount.
The first picture, the light on the left is the IROC and the light on the right is the Sport Coupe. You can see the differences. Also of note, the adjustment screw is on top for an IROC light, and on the bottom for the Sport Coupe light.
The second picture shows the front. The Sport Coupe mounts put the light further back than the IROC mounts, so the light can sit to the rear of the grille.
One last thought - the SC glass lens in these pictures is believed to come from an Astro Van. It is the same size as the normal IROC light. I put an old IROC trim ring around the Astro Van lens, and it fit perfectly. The only difference is the angled glass that the IROC lens has.

Re: 85-87 Sport Coupe Foglight Grilles, Factory Brackets
As I told you last year, these parts have been discontinued for decades.
The part numbers are out there, but they are worthless if the last of the stock was sold back when Bill Clinton was in office.
If the parts were still available, dozens of people would not be paying top dollar trying to piece together a used set.
Oh yeah, Your Welcome.

Hey, I remember those brackets and lights! I'm pretty sure I sold them to you.
Talk about impossible to find now!

Yes indeed!
I ran a Sport Coupe factory fog grille with WalMart fogs for 19 years. Finally got a nice set of factory lights and brackets...and sold the car 6 months later. Funny how things work out.
