I have a (new, In The Factory Box) Duraflex Big Block Hood for a 82-92 Camaro. This is an aftermarket fiberglass hood (styled after the 60's 427 Big Block Corvette Hoods). The hood has a 4" scoop and bolts onto the factory hinges (although you"ll need to switch to the light weight hood struts). I have one on my 89 Convertable and liked it so much I bought this one for a Coupe Project Car I was putting together. Things didn"t work out with my Coupe so my lose is your gain. I paid $359 + $100 shipping but it's yours for $250 but you will need to pick it up, NO SHIPPING. I live in Greenville SC so I'm conveiniant to much of the south east. Check out the Duraflex website for more details but I can tell you that this is a nice looking hood and as long as you have basic body working skills, you won"t have too much of a problem fitting the hood to your Camaro. Oh yeh, originaly I didn't use hood pins but they are a must with this hood, they look bitchin so who cares.

hood pins have not been drilled yet correct? do you have a picture of your actual hood?

No, the pins have not been drilled yet. I just wanted to make sure that it is understood that I feel they are necessary. I will post photo of the actual hood tonight.

forgot to pin my hood down today on a test drive, still trying to get my car to drive properly...HOOD SNAPPED Off...let you know next payday if ill be able to make the 6 hour drive to greenville to get that hood, not willing to ship at all?

Bad deal for sure, in hood pins we trust. The Duraflex has all the mounting points for the factory hood latch but I wouldn't trust it at high speed. Please check out item # 400208253157 on ebay, this is the company I bought the hood from. If you want to arrange prepaid shipping I'll drop it off to a shipper in Greenville, SC.
