Re: Catalytic converter

You can eliminate it.

Know that it'll be noticeably louder all the time, and stinky. If you don't care about polluting the air and smelling stinky stink...give'r hell.

If you live in a state that has even just a visual smog inspection, the cat con will be required equipment.

Is there an O2 sensor on the exhaust exhaust manifold?

Re: Catalytic converter

Your car has an o2 sensor of it wouldn't run. It's in the driver side exhaust manifold.

Re: Catalytic converter

The O2 sensor has nothing to do with the cat. It'll run just the same, cat or no cat.
