Trying to find an exhaust for a 350TPI car with a y pipe.

Trying to find an exhaust for a 350TPI car with a y pipe.

I haven't found anything. My car originally had dual cats so the Y-pipe was AFTER the cats. I had a flowmaster 3" cat back system on the car that had the Y-Pipe on it and it was ok but I wasn't a fan of the sound. I cut if off when I pulled the car apart to clean it up and rebuild the L98 while I wait for parts for my LS3 swap. Now I'm regretting it because the lack of exhaust scavenging from open pipes (SLP 1 3/4" shorties with the pipes that connect to where the cats would have been) is causing the car to be painfully slow. When the TPI intake makes power the exhaust isn't scavenging and when the exhaust makes power from being free flowing the TPI can't flow.

For reference, the car ran a 16.08 ET on my Dragy device when it ran a 13.7 ET at the track with the same engine (but the engine has the stock cam, stock exhaust manifolds, was a 350ci instead of the 355ci it is now and also now I have the heads milled 0.010" for more compression)

All the exhaust systems I see have no Y-pipe because they are for single cat cars. An exhaust shop quoted me $1200 for a custom exhaust from the headers back but I was reluctant to spend that kind of money when I need to buy an entire new exhaust for the LS3 stroker I'm building.

If I can't find anything, I might just pay for the custom exhaust and sell the entire setup with the 1 3/4" SLP headers (Air injection pipes have been cut and welded off) because I figure I can recover most of the money I spend on it as I think it would still be desirable for SBC owners when I swap the LS3 in.
