Car: '88 Formula, '94 Corvette, '95 Bird

Redoing dual exhaust, x-pipe, etc
So I have long tube 1 3/4 headers. Car is 800+hp supercharged, 412" sbc.
Currently running single 3" with a magnaflow boomstick, and a hooker aerochamber crossflow muffler. It's loudish but doesn't sound 'great'.
I know it's nearly impossible to get that amazing foxbody sound out of a SBC.
I have an X-pipe and some 2 1/2" chambered sticks. Was thinking of running them as close to the engine as possible and then running traditional dual exhaust over axle on each side.
How would that sound?
I'm looking for something that is not too loud, but sounds good. Without buying a mustang haha
I suspect part of what makes them sound so great (other than the firing order) is the H pipe and the mufflers close to the engine.

Wonder what something like this would do for you? Were it merges into a single, maybe just run the duals from there?

I'm not concerned about the ground clearance thing. Car isn't lowered or anything like that.
