3rd gen hooker mixed with 4th gen borla
Ok I have a hooker catback for our cars that's been on the car for about 2 years now and after going through two mufflers I picked up a used borla off an lt1 car for $250. My question is will te 4th gen over the axle pipe just slip onto my hooker 3rd gen intermediate pipe with no issues? I would like to use the stainless intermediate pipe from the borla but if I can do this and keep myself from going to the muffler shop I am. Going to try it this weekend just wondering if anyone else has done this. Thanks
UPDATE:
Installed exhaust today utilizing the hooker intermediate pipe and everything fit and worked after I swapped hangers but the tips on the exhaust are crooked and uneven at the back? Has anyone else had this problem using a 4th gen borla exhaust on a 3rd gen camaro?

is that the actual borla "kit" where the exhaust goes over the rearend and one pipe goes to the muffler the other goes straight out? as in the straight out pipe has a flange where a cutout would be installed? anyway I wanna hear it.... ;-)

Yes it is the catback for an lt1 car. I bought it used off craigslist.....it currently has the mid-plate in it and when accelerating it just falls off in the tone department it's just loud as hell. Really looking forward to replacing the plates with a cutout

a buddy of mine has that kit on his 95 and it sounds pretty awesome going just through the muffler and all open, but its way louder when the straight pipe open, hes had some major trouble getting his cutout to stay together, the plate keeps coming apart from the housing, id say you scored big time if you only spent 250 on it when the kit new is almost 900, is your motor still fuel injected or is it carbed?
