Just bought Hooker 2210 Headers...pretty crappy quality. Dougs better?
Hey Guys,
My Hooker 2210 just came in the mail. I am very unhappy with the quality of these...You can see exactly where the vice held the pipes when bending and scarred the hell out of the pipe. The Ceramic coating is very even throughout each header and has faded spots...
I really thought I would get a better USA product for $810...
Any one have experience with the quality of equivalent Dougs Headers? Can you see the vice marks clear as day? Ceramic Coating Quality?
Thanks!

Just so everyone knows, just got the Doug's in. BLOWS AWAY the hooker headers. So much nicer. Beautiful welds, bends, pipe, everything. I recommend!

Where did you purchase the headers?

Got them off Summit for 450 uncoated. 100% worth the money. They are getting professionally ceramic coated now as the production line ceramic coating blows. I will get pics up after I install.
I did test fit already and they fit beautifully. I am running a UMI K member though so that may have helped me on the clearances.

Not quite true.......
As I understand it, when the current parent company bought the Doug's brand they were able to lure away a designer from Hooker............just happened to be the same one that designed the 2210's.........
So.......not a knock off.......an EXACT replica...
