Magnaflow Catalytic Converter
Is there anyone put there that has Magnaflow Catalytic Converter part 93441 installed on their car? I have a 91 Z28 that originally had a 305TPI, but I now have a 383TPI. This part was listed to be for 350 Camaros without dual cats. The cat is 3".
The flange that is on this part has me a bit confused. The bolt pattern seems to be off for the hanger bolts. The flange should be oriented so the long flat side runs horizontally to keep the best ground clearance. The hanger bolt holes on the flange with it oriented as it should are one directly above the other. The holes on the hanger are oriented at an angle, so when the flange is connected to the hanger, the flange is oriented at an angle with a rounded corner and the pipe side clang hanging well below utilizing ground clearance. I am wondering if this particular cat needs the dual cat hanger that mounts to the tranny instead of the single cat hanger.
If anyone has this cat installed, can you shed some light or maybe even post some photos?
Thank you!

Re: Magnaflow Catalytic Converter
I just ordered that one, should be here in about a week. Looks pretty direct fit for the application.

Re: Magnaflow Catalytic Converter
I just put a dynomax converter on my car and it was a true direct fit. Is it possible that you currently have the wrong hanger installed on the car? Just search on Summit or Advance Auto Parts for a new hanger, you should see that they will work.
