SLP Header install questions.

SLP Header install questions.
So I just picked up a pair of SLP headers for my 87 Iroc LB9 G92 car. I have been doing research on the board and have put together a list of things that I will be needing to install. I bought headers although my dad told me not to (he's been a hot-rodder his whole life and owns several Camaros) because he says headers always leak and the bolts come loose. With this said he is not going to be helping me install them and I want to prove him wrong and install these headers with parts that will insure my SLP headers will not leak and the bolts will not come loose.
From what I have gathered using the search feature this is what I have been able to come up with that I will need that will insure me a virtually leak proof header job:
Percys Dead-Soft Aluminum Header gaskets
Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts
Do the copper gaskets work as well as the aluminum gaskets?
Will the install require anything else?

I have also read to use regular 1 inch header bolts with a drop of anti-seize. Will this method insure the bolts will not come lose? Also have read to use locktite blue. I am just concerned the locktite might cause the bolt to become stuck. Will locktite cause the bolt to become stuck?

Well I have used the graphite gaskets with the stage 8 bolts with good success. With the stage 8 bolts you can use the anti-seize if you want.

I have forgotten the brand name but they where pretty thick graphite and soft. They compressed down nicely and didn't blow out. I would Google it and see what comes up.

I am trying to install Dyno Don headers and thinking of using either from Summit
Seal 4 good 66011 Aluminum
or
Mr Gasket Ultra Seal 5903 Graphite Impregnated
Not sure which one is better

Re: SLP Header install questions.
My (Dyno Don) headers would come loose often, sometimes the bolts fell off completely and began to leak, so Dyno Don got a special lock washer (I forget the part number) that he used on my headers. That solved the problem, they haven't leaked since. Probably a good idea to check them every so often anyway.
