exhuast leak

I have an exhaust leak coming from the passenger side of the engine i tighten the header bolts i also did a needle nose pliers holding a small piece of paper but could not determine were the leak is coming from i noticed a small leak behind the intake manifold to engine block below distributor area could that be my cause of exhaust leak or what other tips can i use to determine my exhaust leak

Sorry for not using period i got carried in my train of thought. I double checked the gasket before but the leak/sound comes from below i think either header collector or behind engine/manifold.

Re: exhuast leak

Im running slp shorties with matching y pipe. Im almost positive its coming from the y pipe . The header bolts are tight, but the noise is coming from the right bank below the header.

Re: exhuast leak

Copper gaskets are less likely to blow out again. Cost a little more but save a lot of aggravation. Also locking header bolts.
