I picked up an lt1 out of a 96 impalla ss and am going to swap it into my third gen. but im trying to figure out headers for it but im not sure which would work for my application. will normal sbc headers bolt to the lt1? or can i fit lt headers for a fourth gen trans am in my car or will those not fit? i would greatly appritiate any input on this, thanks

All thirdgen SBC headers work just fine with the LT1. Same exhaust port spacing.

ok, i didnt know if they actuly did or not. but other the emissions stuff theyl bolt right up like to a gen 1 chev? no clearance issues with anything?

If it fits a SBC in a thirdgen, it fits the LT1
