LG4 Headers Power Increase?
Im looking at a set of Hooker 2055HKR headers for sale right around me for a good price. How much power would these add on a mostly stock LG4? All I have is an air cleaner, and high quality stuff like spark plugs and wires. Also, the rest of the exhaust is stock for now (will be getting a cat back soon).
I would just like a guess on how much power these headers would add, and if a 3" cat back would add any as well.
Thanks

You're not gonna see a huge increase in power, maybe 10 hp or so, but you'll definitely notice the difference. I have pretty much the exact same setup as you and felt a good increase in top end pull after installing those headers. I also have a hooker catback.
If you can get them for a good price I would jump on them right away.

Anything that you can do to free up the exhaust and intake side of things will make more power. Arguement if headers are more efficient too, but I think any efficiency disappears with us putting or foot deeper into the accelerator to feel the extra power

not a whole lot but an exhaust will help. plus it will make it sound better and gives more room in the engine bay which are good enough reasons for me.

Re: LG4 Headers Power Increase?
Right: headers by themselves don't "add" all that much power to that engine; but they DO enable all the OTHER things that DO "add" power, and without them NOTHING ELSE is effective. They are more of a means to an end, than an end themselves.
Good move even though bolting them on isn't going to instantly revloutionize your ride.
