Thick White Smoke...

I just finished replacing the Valve Cover Seals on my 91 RS (305 TBI), I took it on a test drive after reconnecting everything and smelled something. it's not sweet like coolant or have an oil smell, its almost stale and rich. Regardless the exhaust has incredibly large amounts of thick smoke coming out at idle and under speed.

My coolant levels have been fine since I bought the car 30 days ago, and I had an oil leak off the seals(hence I changed them). I put oil back in after replacing the seals and I double checked all the vacuum lines I had disconnected and doubled back over the Covers to make sure they are still clean.

I have looked thoroughly and found transmission fluid could be getting in but I have no idea what that smells like burning so I don't want to jump the gun.

Thanks in advance!
