Best headers for the dual cat set up?

I want to get a set of headers for my 90 trans am but with the dual cat set up its seems they are hard to find. The previous owner installed a very nice high flow stainless cat set up so i would like to keep them. I see Edelbrock makes a set, but does anyone know or tried any other ones?

Thanks!

Re: Best headers for the dual cat set up?

you get them from "the man" himself... he who posted those.. "Dyno Don". the only 1 3/4" headers on the market, with ball and socket 3" flanges, 2 1/2" dual pipe. Send him a PM.

Re: Best headers for the dual cat set up?

Just a heads up but at the last dyno session there were cars in the 390rwhp mark using Dyno Dons headers. I expect to see over 400rwhp this year.

Re: Best headers for the dual cat set up?

I run Edelbrock headers with dual cats and a 3" SLP exhaust. Works great so far.

Dyno Don headers have great reviews here...will add them when I swap the cam and heads.

Re: Best headers for the dual cat set up?

One more vote for Don's headers. Quality is top notch and everyone that looks over my car is amazed that I found a set with the 1 3/4" runners. No numbers yet but with my HSR, Don's headers, T-56 and 370 gears on a stock motor its hard to keep it planted and straight until i hit 3rd in street tires.

Edelbrock TES dual ypipe headers. They make some for single ypipe too.
