Re: SLP OPEN HEADERS CLIP
Nope, the only thing i did was i had to jack the driver side of the engine up to get the driver side header to slide in around everything. I used ordinary header bolts...i had to use a short wrench to tighten them all. Also i had my A/C bracket modified...you can buy one but my dad owns a machine shop. Although, mine is an 87 and i believe that the serpintine set up was changed after 87. My A/C compressor is on the driverr side. If you need any pics i got some from the install just let me know

Re: SLP OPEN HEADERS CLIP
pics would be great you can send them to brian.newman1@comcast.net yes my a/c is on the pasengers side but i am thinking about removing my ac completely while im do the header install because the job is already done and it wasnt charged when i started i also have a 350 you might have a slight more clearance than i do i have the exhaust manifolds off right now so im in the procees of the instalation part of the job i do have the slp header kit i was thinking about trying to use most of it even though people say its bad. what is the benifit of using regular header bolts? im thinking of jacking the engine up a few inches so i can get the clearence
