Re: cant get cat off
factory single 2 1/4 cat?
most say they are not welded just a clamp when i did my headers i had to cut out a tack weld and a clamp
and it was the factory Y factory Cat and factory catback and muffler it took me hours of pulling hitting and finaly i got it off but inadvertantly broke parts of the honey comb so i had to replace the cat anyway 99% of these should have the cats replaced anyway

Re: cant get cat off
The cat on my car was just clamped, but it had rusted tighter than the lid on a pickle jar, so I hacked it off with a sawzall
