Anyone tried Hedman 1 3/4 long tubes?
Hedman lists 1 3/4 long tube headers, pt #65165, which require use of a mini-starter and remote oil filter mount. Does anyone have any experience with them? Ever seen 'em? I can't even find photos of them anywhere.
Thanx

$835 from summit
no pic, but thats for a raw, uncoated header, must be something weird.

Re: Anyone tried Hedman 1 3/4 long tubes?
I called Hedman, and the tech guy told me that they have "flat" (all tubes side-by-side in a row) collectors for ground clearance that don't allow you to get the oil filter off without removing the headers. This all sounds kinda strange, but he said he'd email me a photo tomorrow. I'm very curious, but with my Milodon oil pan, the Hookers are starting to look like the smarter option.

Re: Anyone tried Hedman 1 3/4 long tubes?
i got a pair of hedman elite longtubes and i had to cut pieces and weld new ones that curved in instead of out on the k member to make them work. didnt need a mini starter but sounds awesome with a 3 inch y pipe all the way back into flowmaster 80. probably should go wit shortys unless u want to dump the exhaust tho
