Catalytic converter?
Ight so I replaced my 2" pipe with 3", and got a Magnaflow muffler, the only things left stock are the pre-cat piping and the cat itself. If I get a new cat and replace that pipe with the 3" as well will I hear/feel a difference at all?

Re: Catalytic converter?
if the cat on there was not clogged you wont feel a difference, but if with your new setup you sure will hear the difference. when i put mine on it was a lot deeper sound

Tryin to give the V6 a bit of a power boost so it can hold its own, although I don't wanna turn it into a tuned racer hehe

Re: Catalytic converter?
On a V6 you won't notice a difference...Ive spent waayyy too much on exhaust expirementing... Oh and it's not a "305 V6", a 305 is a 5.0 V8...you have the 3.1L V6 like me which is only 189 cubic inches... Sadly doing small mods like exhaust will barely give us any power. Don't waste your money. If you wanna make power go turbo... but not if you don't wanna make it into a "tuned racer"... lots of info in the V6 section.

I drive an automatic as well which kills the potential of the V6. I plan on converting it to manual if at all possible but I need to find a good transmission, the clutch assembly, and someone who knows how to put it all together. Not to mention the console piece for the shifter (cant exactally go back and fourth to shift on a console with a straight track :P)
Right now my main concern is replacing some of the older parts in the car. Need to find out the size of bushings I need to order so I can get those replaced. Get a nasty creak when i do U turns and stuff :l
