Electric Cutout from THUNDER... HEAR IT! BUY IT
Ok, I bought a 3" electronic cutout from our sponsor thunder racing. I just got it and a Flowmaster Delta Series last week on my Dakota. IT SOUNDS AWESOME. 10 seconds to open, ten seconds to close. The difference between the 2 sounds is amazing. One is near stock-car loud and the other is near stock sounding but deeper.
Again, this is not on a thirdgen. BUT, i thought you'd be interested in knowing that THUNDER RACING's kit is GREAT! I also recomend the stainless cutout to go with the electronic valve. I didnt but they ran out of the other and i'm glad i got stainless now. I wont have to worry about it getting nasty and messing up the electric valve if it were to rust.
Hear it here....

2nd vid... camera is a few years old and the video on it sucks - doesnt truly record the sound level difference at all.
o yes, thats the tires chirping when shifting from 2nd to 3rd at 4500 rpm (without manually shifting, the truck pulls STRONG well past 5500k)
First run closed (doors lock makes iiiiiirk sound, obviously, 2nd is open)

FINALLY - the truck IS for sale.... find it on ebay. not hard to find it.

there is a 1-2 chirp in there, but right before that on the closed run you hear a grind sort of noise of the lock actuators on the passenger doors lock at a certain speed.... 1-2 chirp happens at 3/4 throttle too 500ft-lbs probably. 450 says vortec on a stock motor, add the full ignition upgrade, some tuning, the 3.92's and exhaust, i think it should be near 500.... calc says about 350hp to the wheels. vortec says 350 at the motor by adding the supercharger.
