got car dynoed after getting the exhaust done

I took my car to get it dynoed to see what numbers my car is putting out now. The only thing done to the car is the whole custom exhaust from headers to muffler. When my car was stock it ran 208 rwhp and 300 rwtq. With the new exhaust i got 232 rwhp and 324 rwtq. And with the cut-out open i got 242 rwhp and 338rwtq.I'm really satisfied with the numbers.
Peace Out,

Nice jump in power there. What size pipe did they go with and what headers and y-pipe do you have.

Wow, 34 hp and 32 tq with exhaust mods. I'm not suprised though. The stock exhaust is horrible and IMO is the first thing that should be replaced.

Ya I should of put the specs of my car. Its a 92 GTA w/a 350 tpi. I got edelbrock headers w/ a.i.r. and shortys. After the headers i put dual 3 inch piping to 3 inch dual cut-outs to 3 inch dual hi-flow cats then merged into a 3inch i-pipe to hooker aerochamber. Here's a pic.
Peace Out,

Not bad if your car was bone stock with the 208 rwhp and 300 rwtq you only get a 15%hp loss to the wheels and a 13%tq loss to the wheels.

This was at the wheels. It would be considerably more at the flywheel. Fairly impressive I think.

I wasn't sure which he meant, I should of taken into consideration it was more than likely the wheels. I agree, that is a very nice gain.

If those are the only mods you have done, that is most impressive. Nice .

LOL, I know the feeling.
When I bought the T/A in sig it was going to stay mostly stock, and I would be happy with mid 13's.
I hoping to hit tens with some of the new mods

A cut-out is a mini y-pipe that can divert exhaust to your cat back or dump it into the atmosphere and bypass any restriction that your exahust may have. This is pretty much open headers and gives you the best flow possible for track and intimidation situations. It has a removable plate wich allows to choose which route your exhaust goes.
