Problems with my Edelbrock T.E.S.
Did you guys ever had this problem? I guess after a while of the headers rubbing on to the alumin pipe that comes from the radiator to the engine i think it is. It started leaking and I was wondering If you guys can give me a solution to this problem. I was thinking of putting new engine mounts to lift up the headers. What do u you guys think? I'll post a pic tomorrow, to show you what i'm talking about.

im guessing you're talkin about the tranny cooler lines. i have the same headers but haven't had any problems since the installation. i haven't been under the car in a while so i dont know where exactly they can hit.

I havent had any problems with mine yet... but I think the reason is that they are sitting on the floor awaiting some paint and waiting for the old exhaust manifolds to get out of their way.
any advice on getting the last bolts out of there? those guys are really nasty. all the way in the back

I haven't had any clearance issues other that the bonehead ones I hit when I got the collector flanges turned the wrong way and they hit the crossmember. It looks like the problem you are having is with the ENGINE oil cooler lines. I've attached a pic of mine for your reference, but I don't know how much help it'll be. It looks like your lines are routed different than mine, but maybe not. Could you post a broader pic of the area, and also one from the bottom?

Looks like you are going to have to do a little re-routing work on those coolant lines. I'd take that header off, and get them tucked tight to the oil pan, and then put the header back in. Make sure when you do, that you get the flange in the optimal position for clearance, that may take a couple tries to get right.
