Custom Formula from Poland
Hello from Poland!
I already wrote about my car here, but it has been long time ago in a galaxy far far away... and by now the car is completely different than it was before.
I pulled out an old L03 engine and dropped in an aluminium LS1 V8.
The engine received LS6 intake, custom cold air intake, GM performance Hot Cam package and custom 3" full stainless steel exhaust - straight pipes.
The exhaust tips are custom mounted like on Lamborghini Diablo GT.
The rear end has been completely rebuilt with 3,42 Richmond gears and most powerful Auburn posi I could get (it is amazing, I have not seen an Eaton lock that tight).
Transmission is 4L60e that came with the engine.
Brakes: Front Corvette C5 brakes, Rear disc brakes from Trans Am LT1.
In the interior there are 3 gauges on a pillar.
Recently added a ZEX + 125 hp nitrous kit (Gotta love that red button).
Suspension: stock + Eibach lowering springs kit and custom uni-ball Panhard bar.
Body: Front bumper from `91 Formula, Rear spoiler made of fiberglass (exact stock spoiler replica).
Wheels: 18 inch Merit Racing Wheels
Still a lot of things to do. I want the car to be able to go + 300 km/h regularly and be as modern technology car with a 3 gen body as I can make it.
Suspension is the focus for this year.
I really love the thirdgen body, but want the car to go toe to toe with newer cars. On straight line it can blast a Ferrari 360 Modena as well as Porsche 911 997 (non turbo). Engine is pumping 400 hp without nitrous.
Oh and her name is Sophie and she is one of a kind here in Poland.
Cheers
Marcin

I saw no mention & if you don't have them already I would add them, especially if you want the suspension to do the job it is designed for.....
Subframe connectors. Even a bone stock daily driver 3rd gen can benefit from them.

Re: Custom Formula from Poland
Yep, they will be installed. This year I am focusing on suspension entirely.
Koni yellow shocks on all 4 corners, adjustable trailing arms, A-arms, bushings, subframe connectors etc.
Next step is interior:
I am going to install Porsche 911 997 seats with new alcantara/leather on them without the Porsche logo
Full leather dashboard + doors.
Additional GPS digital speedometer dialed in for at least 300 km/h. I forgot the company that makes them.
New master cylinder from 4th gen Fbody.
The car is also getting the mugen type mufflers in the back because it`s too noisy.
I like fabrication and one-offs so I am thinking of adapting some big brakes from Porsche Cayenne Turbo or some AMG Merc. Anything cool I can grab and fabricate to work in my car
Cheers!

I'm sure you have a dyno printout you can show us, right?
And I do really liked her with original nose. The one you have now - suck.
Godspeed young man.

Re: Custom Formula from Poland
Thanks for kind words guys.
Tomorrow the car is getting EBC turbogroove drilled and slotted front rotors installed + EBC yellowstuff brake pads. Hope to get the breaking sorted out finally.
New stuff this month:
ZZ4: The exhaust have been reworked and now looks like this:
It is one custom 3" pipe, that goes into one Magnaflow muffler sporting two oval side by side Lamborghini Diablo GT inspired tips. I just love this exhaust design. Tomorrow I`ll try to get underside exhaust pictures for you guys.
I also got brake booster installed, really helps!
I absolutely love that car , the 3rd gen Formula shape and I am never gonna sell it. I will be upgrading it till the end of my time to make this car hang out with current high performance cars.
Cheers

Re: Custom Formula from Poland
Thanks guys. Happy that you like her.
We were unable to make any new photoshoot with new exhaust due to bad weather.
The new EBC brakes are already installed.
I also have plans for upgrades next week. Coming soon!
Meanwhile some interior pic to keep you warm during those cold nights.
Cheers!

OMG Why doesn't my interior look like that? I will try and work harder, not enough money I suppose.

Hello!
Time for some upgrades!
Sorry for the poor pics quality I got crappy phone camera
The new EBC brakes:
Custom made aluminium racing radiator (it`s not a looker, but it`s much thicker than stock and cools LS1 as ICE for a fraction of the cost of Be Cool radiator)
Another shot of new exhaust
And some sneak peek....
Cheers!
