I know it's late, but...
Time to open the ice box and crack open a cool ale. Looks like that Dan Wheldon guy is for real. Too bad he had to drive a Honda that displaces less than a bucket of stout.

Indianapolis 500. Dan Wheldon won, if you hadn't heard. He is originally from Emberton, somewhere in Buckinghamshire. It's been almost 40 years since a Brit has won the race, although that was in a Ford/Lola chassis.
The young lady that held first with only a few laps remaining lives about 12 miles from me. I've never met her, though. Yes, from what I've seen, she is quite an impessive driver, in several ways.
And anyway, do you really need an excuse to pour an ale? I'm sure I don't, although the Tetley's is a bit difficult to get in these parts.
