You'd need the the engine and transmission to start with, V6 trans. is not a bolt on to the V8. Then there are the motor mounts, exhaust, fuel supply considerations, etc. Sure would be a nice upgrade though.

"Easy" would depend on your experience level at doing engine swaps.
As above, nothing that connects to the V6 will connect to the V8.

Same as any other 6-cyl to small block V8 swap. 350, El Camino, and all that, doesn't matter.
Read what ironwill directed you towards, and decide for yourself from there, whether it's "easy".
