Looking to add some more horse power
Hello im looking for some advice on adding more horse power to a new crate Chev 350/357 hsp. Where and what's your thoughts..
As the latest in Chevrolet Performance’s Street Performance crate-engine lineup, the SP350/357 is designed as an affordable performer to match just about any budget. Better still, it uses strong components and modern technology to make it a better alternative to rebuilding. The SP350/357 leverages the strength of a strong rotating assembly secured in a brand-new block with four-bolt mains, and matches it with modern valvetrain technology to support high-rpm capability.

Re: Looking to add some more horse power
I have the same engine, I have a First Performance intake on it, Holley HP ecu running it, headers of course. Haven't dynoed it but I will in the spring. None of that added any power I'm sure, but it's a great all around engine.

How much money do you want to throw at it?
You could put in a different cam and up the hp a little. If you want a big difference add these heads & a cam.

They have other choices.

What ^he^ said.
Know that this is Gross HP. As installed, results will vary greatly depending on equipment, but it'll likely be under 300hp as installed, using hp metrics that we're more used to using. (how the OEM does it)....and you'd probably see something around 260 RWHP....ish. Better than stock for sure but not the same as an OEM car with "357 hp".
