Tight on money but need swap
I was wondering what the absolute cheapest way to 350 swap my 91 305 tbi with t5 but still have somewhere around 230 horsepower? Any junk yard motors to look for? The whole ECM thing confuses me too

Find a truck (okay, most common) or B-body (best choice) with 350 TBI that still runs, get the engine, ECM, and other stuff required out of it. Swap them.

Dont wanna sink your boat here bit tbi 305s push like 180 horse s.... qhat type of swap? Just to get some quock power of a build to last forever? You could go to part yards or something a get a 350 from like 1986 and up pick ups. That's is what my friend did for his 84 berlinetta
