Since it's easy and cheap, there's no point to it.

I'd take a well tuned carb over stock TPI any day.

It's called the junkyard.
Find a TPI car , remove the TPI intake , ECM and wiring parts and install them into your car.

Re: i wish

Find a tpi intake on ebay or somewhere else that has an equally nice and new looking piece, then just purchase the standalone fuel injection system of your choosing. I use Holley myself.

I cant trade ya because i dont have TPI on my engine, Im a carb'd guy. One thing these guys are forgetting is a fuel pump. Along with you intake, ecm, wiring, etc. youll also need the fuel pump. Or you can go with a holley stealth ram tpi or weiand tpi which will actually be worth it.

Re: i wish

I'll sell you my TPI setup. It would include, fuel rails, injectors (Accel 24lbers), plenum (with a little porting), lower intake, runners, Holley AFPR, TB, MAF, all bolts, distributor cover, computer, factory prom, custom prom (to compensate for injectors/ARAP based tune). Just need wiring harness. As five7kid pointed out, easy and cheap.

Re: i wish

the TPI setup isn't worth screwing around with unless you plan on doing a lot of towing.

a Megasquirt ecu and a modified LT1 intake manifold would be the cheapest way to get mpfi on your old school small block Chevy... swapping in the whole LT1 would probably be about as cheap and a lot better.. an LS swap would cost a little more and be even better..

Re: i wish

Honestly, you'll have a larger potential power band just sticking with the carb set up

Obviously not or I wouldn't have started this thread. Not sure where your attitude is coming from.
