Starting my swap.
Ive already pulled the v6 out of my 83 Camaro. And I have read https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...swap-read.html Can anyone give me an estimate on the little things (power steering hoses, brackets for p/s and alternator, harness if needed)? Im trying to get a rough total to start estimating a budget. If anyones done a v6 to v8 swap Id like to know what kind of money, and headaches, im getting into. Thanks.

Thanks got the input. I'm waiting for a vette to sell, so I should be covered money wise. As of right now it just needs to move under its own power, so suspension and exhaust work can wait for now.

Oh, it doesnt need to be road worthy just yet, I gotta move it from where it is, and would rather drive it onto a trailer than pull it. Also, I live in a small town (emissions is not a problem) and the noise Im sure theyll understand. lol
