V6 to v8 tip swap
Bought a 91 v6 vert would like to swap to a v8 tip. Just wondering if anybody has done this. I have all the parts but not sure if it would be a hard swap. Any feed back would be great thanks!

Re: V6 to v8 tip swap
If you get a complete engine/trans from a 90-92 with harness in tact, it will be very straightforward.

Re: V6 to v8 tip swap
i literally just did this swap this week, the hardest part are the motor mounts because of the angles and where the bolts and nuts are for them, after that and you get your fresh mounts in, the v8 slides right in all pretty as can be. but i also put a carbed motor in aswell so that might have something to do with it.

As you said swapping over the engine mounts is the biggest issue, and realistically unless yours were just replaced with the V6, its probably time to replace them, may as well get it done while gaining a lot of power anyway.
