I found out that the 4th gens engine sits way in the back. Wondering how to hook my cherry picker to the motor???? its a junk motor and don't care if it gets misused to get it out just want an easy tear out. Please help. do i need to take off the front clip to install my 305. and will 3rd gen v8 engine mounts work on the frame on the 4th gen or will there be some modifying and welding which i don't want. since i don't have a welder at this time. any info on this is much appreciated on the swap the v6 swap article doesn't explain enough on how to take engine out and if the 305 and 700r4 will match with the drive shaft and if they have the same transmission mounting bracket. please people i really need help.
