If I swap to carb, do I change my fan/radiator setup?
I replaced my 305tbi with a fastburn 385 going back a few years. Ran into some money issues, but now I'm looking at completing the swap. I have a pretty good understanding of whats involved, but I have a question about my fan. It mentioned nothing in the tech "how to" about the it. If I'm getting rid of the computer, won't it affect the fan? Does the computer tell the fan when to kick on? Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated. I'm itching to drive my car this spring! The ladies don't seem too impressed with my grand am!

Single fan is operated off of a temp switch in the passenger side head via a relay on the firewall in the driver's side corner. Keep that system and you won't have a problem.
As I understand it, dual fans have one operated as above, and the other off of the ECM via info from the CTS.
At least, that's the way I understand it.
