It dont feel like 350Hp

I need some help. i just switched over from tbi to a carb and guys running my same setup are running well over 350hp. i have a stock 350 block, lt4 hot cam, edelbrock air gap, vortec heads, 750 holley, msd box, msd wires and a holley fuel pressure regulator. i know my timing is a bit off b/c it misses slightly. i used a vacuum gauge to set the timing b/c that is all i had at the time. so i was wondering what the heck could be wronge? timing, carb mixture, ect... help please b/c it feels like my 350 tbi i had in there before and it shouldnt.

What do you have for rear gears, and what torque converter do you have?

right now i have a b/m 2000 stall and 273 open but i have a 373 posi waiting to be put in. i know its not the gears though. im thinking maybe my tv cable is not working properly. i tried adjusting it and its not doing what it is supposed to do... making the clicking sound when you adjust it. so i think maybe its that.

Get the timing squared away and install the new gears.

Get the timing squared away before you even drive the damn thing. Timing will make or break a motor, literally.
