im just curious since it SEEMS like the majority of people ditch the AC when they swap to a diffrent motor..

im one of the few who kept it...

One could argue the definations of "swap" and "performance", but I'd say 6300 RPMs is harder on the AC than 5200.

If it's a daily driver I would NEVER ditch the ac. For a race car it would be gone, but otherwise keep it.

Still trying to rig a way to keep my ac. Good for when i go and sell it. Plus u dont hear the whine from the chics about the t tops off and there hair messing up..

are their any clean ac setups. I think the ac setup , the stock one on our cars is too bulky. I want to have it looks clean . I either use the ac or nothing. I never use the vents . So im torn between ac or no vents at all.I could make the firewall smooth if i got rid of the ac and put some gauges where the ac controls were.
