More LT1 wiring..

Couple quick questions. Say my check engine light comes on, will I ever be able to throw a scanner on her to check the problems?

I didn't get the connector for the scan tool off the donor car.

Notes:
doner car, 95 caprice
My car, 91RS 305

Also, will I use the underhood fuse panel from my 95?
I got the wires going through the drivers side firewall under control, do all the wires going to the passenger side fender just go to the computer? Should I remove my old computer, or will it still control the air bag and whatnot?

one more thing, can I rip all the crap for the ABS out of my LT1 harness? If I do this, I think the swap will be pretty straight foreward. It seems that I don't use near all the wires that went through the firewall of the caprice on my 91.

Thnaks, Matt

What's up. I have the ABS stuff resolved, I really need to figure out how to wire this up so I can still pull codes. Even If I can get the two wires to the OBDI hardshell so I can just use the paperclip trick. I just need to be able to pull codes if I need to.

I'm assuming in order to dynotune a car they use this connector to see what your engine is doing.

I'm getting along pretty good with the wiring. The problem is all the wires were cut off at the firewall, If I would have taken the engine out I would have traced the OBDI connector and took it with me.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated!!!
