LS1 swap questions
I sure there is someone who asked this question already. i was thinking about getting a LS1 with a six speed out of a wrecked camaro. I was wondering how hard it would be and what it would take. i have a decent amount of know how but not sure on this swap. what do i need to change or get i have an 85 SC with a 305 V8. Any help with this would be helpful. I need to decided the LS1 or just go with the Carb 350. Thanks

It has been done. I forgot the guys name who did it. Swap will require farbicating motormounts and lots of ca$h. I considered doing this, however I am going to wait until someone makes a kit.

Ted,
I am not aware of any kits out there yet. I wish someone would make one. Let me know what you come up with.

There is probably a good market for you selling the swap "kit" for customers like me. Think it over and post a parts list and price if you're interested.
