I want to find a used Edelbrock Performer RPM Vortec intake or similar.

I have a friend that had one. I will go kick him in the junk and see if he still has it .He had it for 150.00 in V.G. condition .Are you tied to Perf. RPM or will diff brand similar to RPM work

are you going to use a carb or tbi? I have a GM perf intake for vortec heads that is for tbi.
