Re: WTB l69 chip

I've got to ask,......

Isn't this the same thing as any other EST / Knock sensor V8 Carb ECM ?? I'm not talking about the V8's WITHOUT the EST / knock sensor and electric fan - but isn't the L69 ECM and chip the same as an LG4 with EST ?? ( disregarding the obvious auto vs stick )

I KNOW they will interchange without a problem - but is there a DIFFERENCE ??

Re: WTB l69 chip

Thanx for the info.

I know I have one for a "G" engine but it's a Manual ECM. I'll dig thru my others to see if I can find an automatic version.

Re: WTB l69 chip

I found one since last posting to this thread too......... From an 84 Z28 HO auto. I never pulled the codes from the ECM and chip, but that's exactly what I pulled it out of.
