complete 383 procharger setup
I am throwing this out here to see if there is any interest in my complete 383 f1 procharger setup for a third gen...I will include everything to drop this in your car and have a monster engine. Carb to pan...huge intercooler...all piping...383 8.5:1 compression...forged eagle competition rotating assembly...srp pistons with hellfire rings...block has everything imaginable done to it...steel caps lifters bushed and mains and heads have arp studs..dart pro 1 heads...f-1 procharger with a 10 and 15 psi pulley...reason for selling is this setup is too much for me. Also reason for rebuild is previous owner torqued up the torque converter onto the flexplate bolts causing the thrust bearings to fail...so I had to buy this block and repair the crankshaft but now I've lost interest in this set-up. Engine was rebuilt at a very reputable builder in my area and also broke in on his dyno before I put it in my car. $8,000 thank you for reading let me know if you have any questions. BTW I will be including the carb with this setup.

Re: complete 383 procharger setup
Bueller.....Bueller.....I just sent my f-1 procharger into ati to get whatever done to it that needs to be done (seals were weeping due to age, nothing damaged, maybe throw bearings at it?). I am pretty convinced im going 414 na build. If you are interested in a complete set-up for the procharger Id be game to sell that as a complete kit. I would include ignition box and blow thru carb and anything else I wont need to go back na. I have a huge intercooler, all piping, big red race valve. If the part is a procharger thing it is yours. Im thinking 4 grand but waiting to hear from ati to decide? seeing if there is any interest. If you want to go procharger pretty sure this is the best deal you will ever see for everything. If you had a similar cubic inch engine all you would have to do is (in my opinion) get it dyno tuned to verify you arent going to hurt your engine and run it..

Re: complete 383 procharger setup
Just talked to ATI and it needs seals and gears. Everything will be replaced and the guy on the phone said it will be like new! Apparently they had an issue with the supplier on these earlier units( said my gears were almost stripped???WTF!) and have since turned to a much better gear-set, also a little different gear ratio.I told him it was VERY low mileage and he said that is why the bearings still look fine.
