MD, regular 4 wheel disc brakes (J65 brakes)
I don't think it's the style with 1LE PBR rear disc brakes

Re: 89-92 disc prop valve 1lE with PBR rear brakes

MD is 89-92 J65, 2nd design. To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between any of the later valves is rear disc vs rear drum. The 1LE and J65 valves should be the same.

The books heavily imply MC and MD interchange. MB is the later disc/drum valve, then there's LF which shows up sometimes on late PBR and 1LE cars.

As mentioned in the other thread, GU5 is a 3.23 10-bolt.

J65 was also for the 85. Looking at the book I would hazard a guess that 85 was the 1st year and, obviously, 1st design. Different part number of 25521985. Interesting that the last 4 digits are the year. Has to be a coincidence.

Re: 89-92 disc prop valve with PBR rear brakes

Don't read too much into it, I cropped out the entire part of the listing that didn't apply to 89-92.

J65 is a generic GM code for 4 wheel disc. 1989 was a crossover year, so there's '1st design' early cars, and '2nd design' later cars. 85 is irrelevant, since the topic is a much later design part.

I know this part sold but just wanted to add for reference that I believe my 91 Formula still has the LF tag affixed to the front of it. I will check this out later today. It was an early build car for 91 year if it helps any
